Biography

Susan Miley serves as the Business Manager for The Miley Legal Group, where she has been an integral part of the firm’s success for more than 16 years. In this role, she oversees the daily operations of the firm, ensuring that each client receives the highest level of service and support. Her strong organizational skills, financial oversight, and commitment to client care help The Miley Legal Group fulfill its mission of providing compassionate, effective representation to injury victims and their families across West Virginia.

Before joining The Miley Legal Group, Susan worked as a mortgage loan officer for a non-profit organization that specialized in helping low-income individuals and families secure affordable housing and financing. That early experience instilled in her a deep appreciation for serving those in need—a value that continues to guide her work today.

A native of Buckhannon, West Virginia, Susan graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University. She also proudly served in the United States Army Reserves, where she developed the discipline and leadership skills that continue to define her professional approach.
Beyond her role at the firm, Susan is dedicated to community service and advocacy. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hero’s Haven Child Advocacy Center, an organization that protects and supports abused and neglected children, and as the Board Treasurer for the Gold Star Mother’s Bridge Ride, which raises funds for Gold Star families. She is also an active member of several veterans’ organizations, including:

  •  American Legion Post 68 in Bridgeport
  •  American Legion Auxiliary Post 13 in Clarksburg
  •  American Legion Riders Post 31 in Shinnston

In addition, she is a member of the Clarksburg League for Service, contributing to initiatives that strengthen the local community.
Susan and her husband, Tim Miley, live in Bridgeport, West Virginia, with their four rescued pets—three dogs, Mia, Clara, and Lexi, and a cat named Regis. Their daughter, Jordin, lives in San Diego, California, where she is an attorney with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
With over 16 years of leadership at The Miley Legal Group, Susan remains deeply committed to helping the firm’s clients rebuild their lives after serious injuries through compassion, accountability, and dedicated service.
