Biography

As a native of West Virginia, Jamie A. Riddell is a passionate advocate dedicated to helping our community members rebuild their lives after suffering injuries caused by the negligence of others. Her energy, sharp analytical skills, and commitment to justice allow her to move cases forward efficiently—whether negotiating settlements or preparing matters for litigation.

Jamie earned her Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 2025. She previously completed two undergraduate degrees at Fairmont State University in 2017, earning a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, followed by a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice in 2018. Having completed her academic career, she remains committed to expanding her knowledge and sharpening the skills essential to effective client advocacy.

Before “earning her stripes” as one of Miley’s newest Tigers, Jamie gained valuable experience on both sides of the courtroom. She worked as a paralegal prior to law school and later as an associate attorney with defense firms while completing her degree. These roles provided her with unique insight into how insurance companies evaluate and defend claims—knowledge she now uses to level the playing field for injured clients seeking justice.

Jamie is committed to open communication and accessibility, ensuring that every client feels heard, informed, and supported throughout the legal process. She has recently been admitted to practice law in the State of West Virginia and is a proud member of the West Virginia State Bar. She has also been admitted to the Northern and Southern Districts for the Federal Courts in West Virginia. Since becoming a fully licensed attorney, she has become a member of the West Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.

Outside of her legal practice, Jamie enjoys baking, challenging her physical and mental strength at the gym, performing “car concerts,” and spending time with her fiancé.
