Biography

Heather is an Opening Paralegal with Miley Legal, providing front-line client support. She focuses on gathering and organizing all pertinent case information to help ensure insurance companies are held accountable and are unable to undervalue or unfairly deny claims on behalf of injured clients. Moreover, Heather is a consistent point of contact with clients to answer questions regarding the legal processes of their case. To effectively support West Virginia families navigating the personal injury process after life-altering accidents, Heather provides proactive communication while approaching each client interaction with compassion and empathy.

Prior to joining Miley, she worked as a paralegal for the defense of personal injury cases for six years. During that time, she built a strong foundation of legal knowledge and gained direct insight into the methods insurance companies use to evaluate and value claims. Even before entering the legal field, Heather worked in the insurance industry, giving her a well-rounded understanding of personal injury claims from all perspectives. As a result, she is an invaluable member of our team, bringing informed insight that strengthens how cases are handled to prepare for demand.

Outside of the office, Heather is a dedicated fitness enthusiast who believes that a healthy lifestyle fuels a high-energy, disciplined approach to her professional focus. In her spare time, she can be found enjoying a round of golf or spending quality time with her family in the West Virginia outdoors.
