Technology Improve Communication with Lawyer
With the new technology in case management software, it is effortless to stay in touch with clients consistently. If you are consulting with another law firm, it might be a good idea to find out how they intend to keep in touch with you, how often, and with what available tools they will use.
Here at our firm, we use several methods besides phone calls, including texting, emails, and direct mail pieces. We understand that you are busy and may not have time to take a call regardless of how quick it may be.
However, keep in mind that there are a number of periods during a case that contact can slow down, for example, while a person is still treating or when we are waiting for an offer from an insurance company.
Constant Communication is Key
Still, for the most part, the other steps within the injury claim process require constant communication between client and firm. From the beginning, our clients know that we will be in constant contact, whether it be to copy our clients on any letter we send on their behalf or through staff follow-ups every 30 days. There should never be a time when a client has no idea what is transpiring with their case.

Whether you do so by phone or online, our firm will respond to you immediately with more information. After the initial consultation in person, over a video conference, and even entirely over the phone. We can forward any document to sign electronically and even walk you through our entire intake process over the phone. If need be, we can also come to your location to assist you. It gets even better after you sign a contract with our office.
Once you are a client with our firm, we make sure you are up to date as often as possible. Either through direct contact with your lawyer or your assigned legal assistant, you should receive copies of all letters drafted on your behalf in addition to phone calls, texts, or emails (your choice).
Our firm also wants to make sure that you are satisfied with our services, that is why we send periodic surveys for you to fill out to tell Tim how the staff is doing on your case.
