From Corporate Insurance to Justice: Fighting for Accident Clients

I worked as a lawyer for large corporate insurance companies during my first ten years, but the issue was that the side that won did not deserve to win in most instances. Despite this, I was being paid to prevent the deserving side from winning and finding justice.

I got sick of that and decided to be on the side that deserves to get justice.

When I’m representing those families and individuals who have been hurt and are seeking justice, I can anticipate the tricks the insurance companies and their attorneys will use to win the case.

We take every case seriously because it’s severe for that individual or their family. Still, some cases are a little more heart-wrenching, especially those involving the death of children.

Story of a Heart-Wrenching Accident

One of the cases that come to my mind is when a young mother lost her only two children. A drunk driver traveled up the interstate in the wrong direction, collided with their car head-on, and killed everyone instantly.

Though we couldn’t bring those kids back to this young mother, we were able to help provide a bit of closure for her by holding not just the other drivers accountable but the establishment that kept allowing them to drink alcohol well beyond the point of intoxication and will enable them to drive.

Three Categories of Accident Clients

When people come to hire us to represent them, they tend to fall into one of three categories.

  • The first category is when something serious has happened to them or their loved one, such as a severe injury or death.

They realize the serious ramifications and consequences of what has happened to them and need an attorney to help them navigate the legal process.

  • The second type of person who comes to us and hires us to represent them are those who have been injured and realize they’ve never dealt with insurance companies before.

They’ve never been part of the process and don’t want anything to do with it because they’re intimidated or overwhelmed by it. So they would rather have a lawyer represent them along the way and handle the case.

  • And the third type of person that comes in to hire us is those who believe they can handle the case themselves.

Still, somewhere along the line, they encounter a roadblock that has been put up against them by the insurance companies, and they get upset and frustrated and realize they need to hire a lawyer, which is what they should have done in the first place.

So most cases in our office typically fall into one of those three categories.

We have many people calling or coming into our office wanting us to take their case, but as you can understand, we can only take some cases that come through our door.

But if we take your case, we expect to win it for you.
