How did you come to West Virginia?  I came to serve at Horizons Church as their Director of Media and Technology.

Hobbies: Technology, Video Production, Web Hosting, Networking, Video Games, Photography, Videography

Occupation: Director of Media and Technology at Horizons Church & Owner of Catalyst (Web Hosting Solutions)

What inspired you to use your talents to help your church?  When I was 15, I was introduced to new ways of using media for ministry.  In middle school, a media volunteer named Jarland Donnell reached out to me, and if it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t be doing what I’m doing today. Through years of seeing life change, I decided this is what I wanted to do with my Life. I’m thankful God has blessed me with opportunities to serve with great people and under great church leadership.

What do you do for the church?   My goal is to utilize my skills and talents to get others plugged into ministry. I reach out and keep people informed through the church website (, iTunes (Horizons Church LC), Facebook, Twitter (@horizonslc), & video announcements during services.

How do you market Horizons?  Most of our marketing is word of mouth. For Easter, Christmas, and Back to Church Weekend we do mailers. Sometimes we do billboards to tease new series.  Eventually I hope to try Facebook marketing.

Tell us about Catalyst:  My current project is a company called Catalyst (Web Hosting Solutions). Jarland and I started this company with a desire to make web hosting simple.
